When asked to establish a teaching statement, I didn't need time to think since my reply was simple,

"We are all beginners at different stages of beginning."

This applies to every student in every class, every person in every situation. It applies to you. It applies to me.

This simple statement has set the stage for me to teach passionately and to connect in myriad ways to myriad learners. Passionately and creatively.

My current focus is to teach art & English, as well as to develop local programs to reach students of all ages.
